Sandwiches, baked goods, etc. One Sunday we arrived too late and
found that they had closed at 1pm (in July 2004). Another Sunday we
arrived earlier, but they weren't open to the public because there was a
private party -- so we continued north and find our snack food in
Copake.

- swimming -- Taconic State Park in Copake Falls is a classic
swimming hole, or for a sand beach try Rudd Pond State Park further
south.

Lots of pretty farms on quiet roads with a delightful food stop in a little
village in the middle -- one of our favorite riding areas. Shorter
easier variations and bicycle rentals for family and friends, including a wide
